You should prepare from a mistakes when you install new blogger template for your blog. There is three mistakes when install new blogger template that usually happened to someone or maybe “a newbie“.
You must back up or download your old template first. This is to avoid when your template was have some mistakes after you installed.
Metadata is information about data. The <meta> tag provides metadata about the HTML document. Metadata will not be displayed on the page, but will be machine parsable.Meta elements are typically used to specify page description, keywords, author of the document, last modified, and other metadata. The <meta> tag always goes inside the head element. The metadata can be used by browsers (how to display content or reload page), search engines (keywords), or other web services.
The purpose of meta tags is to inform web crawlers about your page. They existed before search engines, but today, they primarily used in terms of search engine optimization (SEO). Using them may help web crawlers more easily index your pages in search engines, but, not all web crawlers or robots pay attention to these tags anymore
I think some people just leave a way from that things. They so happy with their new template. So, you must copy and insert your meta tag in your new blogger template.
Many template are ready to use. I means in that template an images or java script was upload by template designer or template converter. I think many of free template was use free hosting for their image or script, like a photobucket, ripways, and many so on. Like as you know that free hosting isn’t unlimited bandwidth. Sometimes when they reach for maximum bandwidth, the image will gone. So when it happen, your site will be have a bad look like this one.

I saw you was put a PageList below the post. I think that area not suitable for that.
